
John McGinnis, Firefighter, Engine 19 - November 14, 1930
McGinnis died at a fire in the Upton Mill and Elevator at 218 Main Street Northeast when he was run over by a fire truck. The accident occurred in the confusion of trying to get fire rigs through a large crowd of spectators at the blaze. McGinnis suffered injuries so severe he died soon after being taking to the hospital.
