Louis F. Malchow, Firefighter, Engine 4 - May 16, 1927

McGuire and Malchow died in a collision between Engine 2 and Engine 4 at 8th Avenue Northeast and Sibley Street. Both rigs were on runs, Engine 2 to 7th Avenue Northeast and Sibley Street, Engine 4 to a false alarm at 10th Avenue Northeast and marshall Street. Both men were thrown beneath the wheels of thier rigs. Malchow died at the scene, Mcguire died an hour later.
